About the group
Waterbeach Community Players (WCP) are an award winning group, situated three miles outside Cambridge. The group was formed in 1978 and present two main productions and a Pantomime every year.
They are regular performers at local drama festivals, including at Cambridge, where they have won a number of awards. Although drama is the main objective of the group, they also engage in a wide variety of social activities throughout the year.
Most of their productions take place at Waterbeach School three times a year (January, May and November) and, as is the case with all local groups, they are always on the lookout for new members.
