Cambridge Festival of Drama
We also run fringe events where anyone is invited to share ideas, take part in workshops and learn from each other in a relaxed setting.

NEW FOR 2019! We want the Festival to be a place where you can learn something new, so we've arranged two exciting workshops for anyone to enjoy. The sessions are FREE and take place on 7th September at 11am in the ADC Theatre, but must be pre-booked.
IMPROVISATION TASTER WITH JSE IMPROV
Learn how to act on your toes, reacting spontaneously to any given situation or scenario - often with humerous results!
WRITING WORKSHOP WITH WRITEON
Learn about how to get into new writing with Julia Bolden from local Cambridge group, WriteOn.
Meet our adjudicator - Chris Jaeger (GoDA)
Known as one of the most experienced adjudicators on the circuit, he is a former chairnam of the Guild of Drama Adjudicators - and so definitely knows his stuff! Chris was awarded an MBE in the Queens' 2013 Birthday Honours for services to arts, and has also been involved in various roles with organisations such as the Royal Navy and the English Symphony Orchestra.
Where else can you feel complete elation and catharsis to utter heartbreak in a single evening? Variety and talent is what you can experience at a Drama Festival!
We love taking part in drama festivals because it takes us out of our comfort zone.
I love a good drama festival because it brings like-minded people together from different areas and it's lots of buzzing fun.
